Maya Whiteside is an incredible basketball player! Being a 4x all-state and all-district player is a remarkable achievement, and reaching 1,000 points and 500 rebounds is no small feat either. It's impressive that she was nominated for the McDonald's All American team. Playing Division 1 basketball at LIU Brooklyn and later Division 2 at Biola University shows her dedication to the sport. Maya must have had an incredible journey playing at both levels.
Maya's decision to take this season to coach and gain a different perspective on the game is a wonderful idea. With her extensive experience and her ability to relate to the players, she will undoubtedly make a great addition to the coaching staff. Understanding the strengths and learning styles of the players will allow Maya to provide personalized guidance and support to help them grow and excel. It's clear that Maya's passion for basketball and her dedication to understanding the game on a deeper level will greatly benefit the CMC coaching staff.
