The Copper Mountain College Men's Basketball Team open the new year with two exciting games at the Bell Center last week. On Wednesday evening the men the beat Barstow College, 90-80 in overtime. Freshman forward Luke George led the Fighting Caccti with 27pts. Freshman Levin Holloway sent the game into overtime with a 3point shot at the buzzer to end regulation. Freshman forward De'Meim King added 18, with Freshman guard DJ Ralston adding 16 points 

On Saturday afternoon, the men hosted College of the Desert and again played a close one but this time came up short losing 78-76. The Copper Mountain Men had five players score in double figures led by Luke George's 22 points and 11 rebounds.  

The men continue IEAC play this Wednesday night at the Bell Center against Chaffey College, tip off is at 7pm
