The Cacti needed a spark off the bench versus #4 Santiago Canyon and they got just that from Hyking Brisbon. As the Cacti struggled to find the bottom of the basket early against the Hawks, Brisbon brought energy and effort that became contagious for the CMC men's team. Hyking found himself on the wrong end of a 12 point game as he cleaned up his teammate's misses early on to cut the Santiago lead to only 4 points. The Cacti found themselves down big in the second and Brisbon was there again to help ignite a Cacti run to cut it to just a one-point deficit again with seconds to play. Brisbon finished the game with 29 points and 16 rebounds including 11 on the offensive end. The effort won him the Fighting Cacti Athlete of the Week. Fight On Cacti!!!
