Jayla Speakman Named Fighting Cacti Athlete of the Week

Copper Mountain College is proud to announce Sophomore Jayla Speakman as this week’s Fighting Cacti Athlete of the Week.

Speakman played a key role in leading the Women’s Basketball Team to a strong 2–0 start to open the season. She delivered an impressive performance, shooting 8-for-14 from the field and 5-for-6 from the free throw line, providing consistent scoring and energy on both ends of the floor.

Her leadership, efficiency, and defensive presence were major factors in helping the Fighting Cacti secure back-to-back wins to begin their campaign.
