Former Cacti, Mikah Blackwell, and his Arizona Christian Firestorm are in Kansas City, Missouri for their round of 16 contest against Morningside College (Iowa) Tuesday night at 7PM CDT. ACU received the number 1 seed out of the Liston Quadrant and hosted the first two rounds of the tournament. The took care of business as the snuck by Corban College (Ore) and handled Antelope Valley (CA). In the first-round game against Corban, Blackwell led all scorers with 17 points on the night as the Firestorm won 61-59. ACU then beat Antelope Valley 92-73 the next night to punch their ticket to Kansas City.

Blackwell has started 23 of his 27 games played this season. He has averaged 11 points and 5.6 rebounds for the Firestorm and was tied for the team lead with 21 blocks on the year. Just like at the Bell Center, Blackwell wowed the crowds with thunderous dunks and athletic plays all year. Keep Fighting On Cacti!!
