Coach Tammy finding many "Rhodes" to success at Copper Mountain
As the fall season begins, Head Women's Volleyball Coach Tammy Rhodes knows she has a tall task ahead of her. As an experienced coach with over twenty years experience she needed a different mindset as a rookie in the community college world. When asked about her expectations for the upcoming season Coach Rhodes stated: "We want to compete, gradute and help build good women of character as they move to the next chapter of their lives." To help with these goals Coach Rhodes has assembled a team of dedicated young women who are prepared to answer the call. Leading that charge are freshmen N'taiya Youso, Evalynn Large and Paige Vanhulten. These three look to create a fun and exciting environment everyday in the Bell Center for team practices. The Morongo Basin is quite excited to see what the future holds for Women's Volleyball at CMC. One thing is for sure, with Coach Rhodes at the helm this season will be filled with exciting play and inspired young ladies. You can catch the Fighting Cacti in action Saturday September 10th when they travel to Imperial Valley College.
