The Copper Mountain College Fighting Cacti Men's Basketball team nothced their first win of the season 85-79 over Bakersfield College in the COD Frank Garcia Classic.  The Fighting Cacti jumped out to an early lead in the first half with solid team defensve effort holding Baskersfield College to 20.6% shooting from the field to take a 17pt lead at the Half.  Bakersfield came out strong in the second half to cut the lead into single digits.  The CMC men settled down and were able to make their free throws and lock down a 85-79 victory.  The Fighting Cacti were lead by Luke George with 35 pts.  Guards DJ Ralston and Jordan Montgomery added 20 & 13 respectfully.  The Copper Mountain men return to action on Nov 9th at home versus College of the Desert.
