CMC Men lose the season opener to #18 Southwestern College

Copper Mountain College's men's basketball team faced a challenging start to their season, falling to #18-ranked Southwestern College in their opener. Despite their best efforts and intense competition, the Fighting Cacti couldn't overcome the hot shooting of their highly-ranked opponent.  The Fighting Cacti showed a lot of promise for the remainder of the season with four of their playes scoring in double digits, with Jordan Morency leadign the team with 13.  This game marked the start of a season where Copper Mountain will look to build on each performance as they navigate the competitive schedule ahead.
