CMC Men's Basketball notch second straight win
Copper Mountain College's men's basketball team clinched their second consecutive victory with a nail-biting 63-61 win over Palomar College. The Fighting Cacti displayed grit and resilience, led by an outstanding performance from Amarion Wallace, who dominated the court with 23 points and 20 rebounds.
Wallace's impressive double-double proved instrumental in leading Copper Mountain College to victory, as he provided both scoring power and critical defensive rebounds. His efforts were matched by his teammates' determination, as the team worked together to hold off a strong Palomar squad down to the final seconds.
Head Coach JJ Santa Cruz praised the team's effort, saying, "Tonight's win was a testament to our players' hard work and perseverance. Amarion's performance was incredible, but it was the entire team's dedication that allowed us to secure this win."
This victory improves the Fighting Cacti's record to 3-3, as they continue to build momentum for the season. Fans can look forward to their next game on Nov15th at San Diego Mesa College, game time is 3pm.
